Alternative Gifting For Valentines

Finding an alternative Valentine's Day gift can be a challenge, especially if you're looking for something different from the usual options. Over the years, we've naturally created designs inspired by tattoo culture that make perfect gifts for Valentine's Day. Below, we've highlighted some of our favourites to help you find the ideal present.

New greeting cards - 3 Designs Available 

This year, we’ve released a small collection of greeting cards, including the new design “Lucky To Have You”, alongside two of our classics - “Not Without You” and “Love You To Death”. Each card is A5 and printed on a premium G.F. Smith card. These designs are also available as t-shirts, so you can pair the cards with matching apparel and get everything you need in one place.

Alternative T-shirts - Perfect for Gifting

We have recently released a couple of new designs this year, and a couple of them would work great as a gift this season. First up is the “New Life” design, available as a hoodie, t-shirt, and metallic gold art print. This design features flowers arranged in a skull pot – a unique twist on a traditional flower arrangement, and it will last much longer too.

Next, we have the "Lucky To Have You" t-shirt we released recently and has been popular since its launch. We decided to print this one as an outline illustration, using our custom mix 'black on black' ink to make it a bit different to the greetings card, we love how this one turned out.

We've got a range of staple designs which would also be great for this time of year including "Love You To Death", "Until Death" and "Not Without You". 

Art Prints - Screen Printed By Hand 

If clothing isn’t what you're looking for, then we have lots of prints that can be framed up and gifted. The most popular choices are our “Love You To Death” (available in A4 and A3) and “Until Death” (available as a 12x12” square print). We also have the traditional “There Is No Me, Without You” A3 print which leans more into the traditional tattoo aesthetic. 

At Thirteen, we strive to be as inclusive as possible. Our clothing is unisex, and we choose to use skeletons in our imagery, because everyone is the same on the inside, and it fits our aesthetic perfectly. Some key examples of this are the “Not Without You” design and both our popular “Love You To Death” and “Until Death” designs. These designs have become special to a lot of people, and it's great to see. They work as gifts for a partner, friend or family member, and they can develop meaning for the individuals over time.

One design we have that isn't directly related but is something that symbolises love as a theme for us is the “No Place For Hate” one, the message behind it is one of love being for everyone and that prejudices and discrimination are something that is not welcomed or tolerated.
